Belt Buckles

Gentlman's, signed, one-of-a-kind belt buckle.  Pierced, domed, sterling-silver, over copper underlay in a sterling silver frame.  This buckle can be individually customized to feature your initials or your company logo overlayed in gold.  The size is 3.5 x 2.5 in.

This signed, one-of-a-kind, slightly domed belt buckle features a relief-engraved wolves paw print with a blackened patina, and a textured foreground in the metal.  It has a slightly raised, highly polished decorative edge.  It weighs 4.5 oz in pure silver.  The size is 4 x 2.5 in.  See next photo below for the backside of this buckle.

The backside of the buckle has a swing bale (for a 2 inch belt). The backside is highly engraved in a large scroll pattern.  It can be worn facing either right or left.

Burr Buckles

Two signed, unique, one-of-a-kind moose antler crown belt-buckles carved into with hand-painted Big Horned Sheep heads.  Featuring a swing bale, and both fit a 2 in. belt.  Top belt buckle is 4 inches across in size.  The bottom buckle is 3.5 inches across in size.

Powder Horn

I recently completed this horn.  The theme on the horn is a mountain man, armed with only a Bowie knife, fighting for his life against a full-charging grizzly bear.  I have high relief-carved the plug and the removable pouring tip of the working powder horn.

The white portion of the horn is scrimshawed with three vignettes: 1) the mountain-man knife fighting the grizzly bear; 2) a face of the snarling grizzly bear as he attacks the mountain man; and 3) the mountain man victoriously wearing the head of the grizzly bear as a hat.

Muzzle Loader Rifle

One of the things on my Bucket List was to finish the hand-made muzzle loader that was made in the early 70's by a friend of mine named Carl England, a well-known rifle builder. It's a 54 caliber flint lock with a wooden patch box. The wood from the muzzle to the butt plate is an exceptionally fine Tiger Stripped Maple stock.  The patch box is wooden with a nickle silver thumb plate and lock.  The stock was shaped with a Roman Nose style. All of the nickle silver fittings are hand relief-engraved in a style that matches the high relief carving design in the stock.  There are two 24-carat gold bands in-layed into the browned Douglas barrel. The stock is extensively high relief-carved with a design of that period.
